Welcome to our KIDS ONLY U-PICK! A U-Pick dedicated just to the kiddos. A great way to spend a Sunday morning out in Nature, before returning home with tuckered out kids that hopefully NAP for you! It’s a fun way to wonder our rows of flowers, selecting the blooms you desire, creating your own unique bouquet and making everlasting memories. You and your kiddos can gather 15 to 20 blooms from our summer annual rows.

Here is what is included for the event:

A chance for you and your child(ren) to take in the beauty of our fields and snap a few photos along the way. (#RedBarnFarmWI #RedBarnFarmWIUPick)

A brief demonstration on designing a bouquet, before you are free to create your own masterpiece.

A mason jar to design your flowers in and take home.

Refreshments - A snack per child and refreshment.

Children of all ages are welcome, but they must be accompanied by a parent.

Each session is 1.5 hours long. We have limited spaces available.

The cost is $30 per child per ticket. If multiple siblings attending, the cost for each additional child is $25.

Enjoy wandering through our garden, searching for the perfect bloom! At this time, I’m asking that you please do not cut from the dahlia field. I have new varieties that I am adding this season and want to monitor their bloom production. I also have specific sanitation practices in place when harvesting dahlias. You are able to pick either 15- or 20 blooms from the annual field. On the form, please select the time that you will be attending. Any youth that is 18 and under needs to be accompanied by an adult to the U-Pick. Children 3 and under attending with a sibling do not need to purchase a ticket. Also, please be mindful that the ground is uneven. Every one should be careful carrying scissors or snips while walking in the fields, but PLEASE be extra cautious with your kiddos. Do not let them run around with snips or set snips down in the field.

Please note - this is an OUTSIDE event. Please bring water bottles, sunscreen, bug spray. hats, gloves, closed toes shoes/appropriate garden shoes. Even if the day of the U-Pick is sunny, it might have rained the day before and the ground can be wet, with some muddy spots. The flower field is sunny in the morning/early afternoon, so please keep that in mind with you and your child(red)s clothing attire. Strollers are welcome, but not guaranteed to fit down the walking paths. NO pets allowed.

*If we need to cancel due to weather, your ticket can be applied to our Wednesday evening U-Pick from 5:30pm to 7pm or you may join us Friday, October 2 from 3:30pm - 4:30pm.
